Steven K. Sauerberg, MD
A distinguished family physician in the Chicagoland area he is the creator and current President of Family Medical Center of LaGrange. He received a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from MacMurray State in 1975, and his Doctor of Medicine from Rush Medical College in 1977.
He’s served as an Assistant and Associate Director of LaGrange Memorial Family Practice Residency Program (1981 – 1985), Assistant Medical Director HealthChicago HMO (1985), Medical Director of LaGrange Health Services (1991 – 1996), Board Member, Illinois Academy of Family Physicians (2004) and currently Fellow of the American Academy of Physicians, and a Member, Board of Trustees, Mac Murray College.
Dr Sauerberg has also been instrumental in the development and implementation Lab Results Voice Mail Systems, Practice Partner Computerized Medical Record Systems, and developed SKS Consulting which focuses on Medical Practice Management, and Technology Implementation.
Among all of his accomplishments Dr. Sauerberg was the Republican nominee for the United State Senate seat in Illinois 2008.

An Independent multi-state licensed insurance broker since 1995. In 1999, he officially incorporated Small Business Insurance Services Inc. which provides affordable insurance products to the small business & self- and professional commentary he has given that has been widely distributed around the web.
He also hosts a weekly Blog Talk Radio show answering consumer Health Insurance questions from around the country.
